fijianhost.com makes it easy for everyday Fijians to earn from tourism. If you have a clean, safe space — whether in the village, highlands, or by the sea — we’ll help you list it, manage bookings, and get paid. You don’t need to be an expert. We’ll support you from start to finish.

What We Charge

We take a 10% commission from each confirmed booking. This helps cover:

Payment processing and bank fees
Coordinating bookings and guest support
Promoting your listing to travelers
Maintaining and improving the platform

Pricing is collaboratively determined based on your offering, location, and local market standards.

Who Can Host

You don’t need hospitality experience — just a safe space, a warm spirit, and pride in your home and culture.

You can become a host if :

You have a space for guests to sleep
- A private room, shared room, mattress, or floor bedding is all okay
- You decide how many rooms to list — max. 2 guests per room
You have standard household facilities
- A toilet and bathroom (indoor or outdoor, shared or private)
- A place to cook or serve simple meals if needed
You live in any type of setting
- A village, settlement, traditional land, or town
- We welcome hosts from all over Fiji, in both rural and urban areas
You can communicate clearly with guests
- You can speak basic English or host with help
- You’re open to learning how to guide guests
You’re willing to share your way of life
- Whether it’s through stories, customs, food, or your surroundings
- Create a safe, warm, and respectful space for guests

Take Your Photos

Capture a few clear photos of your:

Bedrooms (whole room, bed and amenities)
Bathroom and toilet (shared or private)
Kitchen or cooking area
Living room and other areas
Nearby surroundings or scenic views
